Sometimes I like to think that maybe you're having a bad day..... everyday.
Sometimes I think you just don't want to be very social..... just to me.
Someday I hope you'll be really happy to see me..... but you never are.
Sometimes I break into tears knowing you'll never hear..... the song I sing.
Somehow you could understand..... if you only took the chance.
Some nights I dream how happy we could be..... only to have it broken.

Now that I'm deserted, without even a shred of hope, I recede into my cave fearing the impending doom bound to find me if I leave.

Song of the Day: Will Stratton

Holy Crap!!!!! I knew when I first saw Will Stratton that he was good but now he's ridiculous! He has a freaking twelve string guitar for crying out loud. I love all the stuff the does especially because he has a lot of schooling behind his music and he definitely knows how to sound good. So here you are Lying in the Dark. Comment and like please!

My Dusty Desert

Every dune seems to climb higher and higher. The sun gets brighter and brighter. The sand gets hotter and hotter. I stumble down the pillar of sand to find that I would just fall to the ground anyway. As time passes and my nap ends I hear the song. I hear the beautiful sound that breaks my heart and expands my soul and causes my mouth to fall open. It's no where near me but I can hear it. That's what matters. I climb to my feet. First a crawl then a walk then a run. By the end I am frolicking up and down the wave sand mountains towards the beautiful music only to find nothing. The fleeting song tries to leave my mind but jam my finger in my ear to keep it in. Sure I found my way to an oasis. To shelter and eventually out of the desert, but that song, that wonderful song is still in that desert asking for an ear to hear it cry out in sweet melodic joy.
