Epiphanies

There have been so many points in my life where I have had streams of understanding slapping me in the face. They happen at odd moments, usually when I'm alone. It also happens that they don't always seem to stay in my mind. I figure I can right them down and keep them from disappearing into my head at the same time. Here you go.

1. Unfortunately, at most times of my life sleep has been underrated. But in reality there is no sane way to put a price on a good nights sleep in your own bed.
2. Love has so many different faces. It can have different meanings between different people, but with out it every single relationship is meaningless.
3. Nothing is impossible, you just need a little faith and do your part.
4. Girls can either be your best friend or your worst enemy. Plus they can switch sides at any time.
5. Always finish what you've started.
6. The truth is always there if you're willing to look for it.
7. A person tells the most about themselves when they aren't talking. You just have to "listen" to what they're "telling" you.
8. It's impossible to put on a smile if you don't want to be happy (even secretly)  on the inside.
9. The hardest person to forgive is yourself.
10. A big bang brings around a lot of shock. You need to give time to settle before you can fully process what happened.
11. Running will get you far, but being honest will get you farther.
12. We subconsciously place a value on everything and due to life's shortness we pick and choose between everything and choose the most valuable to take our time. The most amazing people in all of history are those that took those things that seemed to have the least value in the world's eye and let them fill their time.
13. The secret to happiness is not just in the blessings. It is in the adventure that you can be happiest even if it's not all that it's cracked up to be. OH but...
14. Chocolate is the shortcut to happiness and but it leaves you with a sugar crash.
15. It's insane to think that our world is meant to be controlled by some exterior force which some call fate. It is up to us to decide how our lives will turn out. What adventures we'll have and what we will choose to love. It's all up to you.
