Song of the Day: Barbra Streisand

Tiffany this one is for you! Haha, ever since you first showed me this song I loved it. I know I had heard it before but it just seemed to have more effect on me now. Barbra shows her talents with this song and it definitely has a strong meaning to more than just her and her son. Please show me some lovin' and post a comment or like!!!

My Dusty Desert

Every dune seems to climb higher and higher. The sun gets brighter and brighter. The sand gets hotter and hotter. I stumble down the pillar of sand to find that I would just fall to the ground anyway. As time passes and my nap ends I hear the song. I hear the beautiful sound that breaks my heart and expands my soul and causes my mouth to fall open. It's no where near me but I can hear it. That's what matters. I climb to my feet. First a crawl then a walk then a run. By the end I am frolicking up and down the wave sand mountains towards the beautiful music only to find nothing. The fleeting song tries to leave my mind but jam my finger in my ear to keep it in. Sure I found my way to an oasis. To shelter and eventually out of the desert, but that song, that wonderful song is still in that desert asking for an ear to hear it cry out in sweet melodic joy.
